Dental Hygienist (R.D.H)

My name is Denise. I have been a registered dental hygienist since 1984 and have worked with Dr. Matteson since 1996. I graduated from Brevard Community College with an A.A. degree in general education and Florida Junior college with an A.S. degree in dental hygiene. I am a member of the American Dental Hygienists’ association as well as the Florida Dental Hygienist Association.

You will see me for your dental hygiene appointments. Dr. Matteson and I work together to ensure you have a healthy smile for a lifetime.

I have experience in general, cosmetic and periodontal dental practices. I enjoy general practice because we see a wide variety
of patients from 3 to 103!

I have a son, Michael and two dogs, Schotzie and Pepper. I enjoy
Reading, movies and gardening.

Office manager

Hi, I am Gail, Dr. Matteson’s business administrator. I have
enjoyed working with Dr. Matteson since 1999. We are a small
family oriented office that enjoys maintaining happy, healthy relationships with our patients. I look forward to your visits and working out financial arrangements to help you maintain your beautiful smile. I also keep your accounts up to date and help you with your dental insurance claims.

I graduated from Southern College with high honors and an A.S. degree with dental assisting major. I also attended University of Maine for credits and I have taken many workshop classes pertaining to health and administrative issues.

I love to visit my three children and three grandchildren in the Seattle, Washington area. I relax by sailing, reading and watching a good movie. I also like to work- out , walk my dog and go to Sea World with Richard and my step-daughter, Shelley.

Linda
Certified Dental Assistant (C.D.A.)

Hi! My name is Linda. I recently joined the energetic dental team of Dr. Matteson. It is my pleasure as a chair side assistant to be a part of the care and treatment of each patient. I graduated honors in dental assisting from Southern College Orlando, Florida and obtained national board status,giving me the privilege of the title Certified Dental Assistant or (C.D.A.) after my name.

After college I worked in periodontics for 20 years, enjoying a variety of duties. Chair side in surgery included procedures such as bone grafting, tissue grafts, implants and root amputations.

I am a Florida native and love outdoor sports, crafts, baking and traveling.
My husband Rod and I enjoy our time together with our grandchildren. We are animal lovers and have cats for pets.

Hello, my name is Sandy. I am an Orlando native and I graduated from the Orange County Dental Assisting Program in 1981. I worked in a pediatric dental practice for 6 years before moving to general dentistry. I enjoy the challenges and changes of dentistry as the field has evolved through the years.

I have been married to my husband, Jim, for 21 years. We have two children, Emily and Cameron. My daughter is a college student at Florida Gulf Coast University and my son is in high school at the Master’s Academy.

In my spare time, I enjoy fishing, water skiing, going to the beach, and volunteering at my church and Winnie Palmer Hospital. But most of all I love spending time with my family and pets.
